Project Portfolio Management

We assist organizations in doing the right projects right – those projects with strategic alignment that make the best use of your organization’s time, talent, effort and budget.  Project Portfolio Management (PPM) enables an organization to define, prioritize, understand, and measure the impact of projects on their organization.  It also defines the magnitude of resource involvement, so you don’t over-commit your teams.

PMO Intellect will conduct a comprehensive assessment that includes:

  • Evaluating organizational commitment to project management and project portfolio management
  • Identifying existing PM and PPM processes, tools, and templates
  • Pinpointing development opportunities for your Project Managers
  • Analyzing existing project portfolio decision making and governance
  • Recording existing resource management, change management and risk management tools and practices

After our assessment is complete, PMO Intellect plans and customizes a change management initiative that meets the needs of your organization.  We ensure that the structure, tools, and processes we recommend are aligned with your strategic goals and resources.

PMO Intellect will implement change management initiatives to:

  • Close gaps in Project Managers’ capabilities
  • Deploy/improve your Project Management Office (PMO)
  • Deploy/improve project and project portfolio processes, tools, and templates
  • Create/improve project and project portfolio governance structure
  • Improve resource planning discipline
  • Evaluate, select and deploy PM and PPM software as needed
  • Coach, mentor, and train PMs, governance board members, functional leaders, and team members
  • Lead pilot projects to demonstrate best practices and assure cultural assimilation
  • Reassess periodically to measure progress and recommend course corrections
